<p>Applied to Stanford because great academic school, etc (all the reasons most people apply)</p>

<p>Got in (to Stanford), and visited a few schools (you know, visiting the schools that you get into/checking out the campus etc… sometimes a reason people chose UCLA over Cal)… LOVED Oregon/the whole atmosphere/the campus, etc.</p>
