@kitts95 I just came across your post. Northwestern is a great choice, and the full scholarship makes it an incredible opportunity. I also love the attitude that you have projected regarding your rejections.
However what stands out in your post is that you did not have the results as a URM that I am sure “everyone” assured you that you would have. I get so tired of reading uniformed posters proclaim that URMs that do not have nearly your stellar (and competitive in their own right) stats, are a shoo in for acceptance every where. With another admissions cycle approaching I think this thread is worth bumping as an informative and cautionary story.
