My Mom's Tummy...Don't read if you can't stomach it.

Maybe try this:

D1 always had problems with her stomach - only able to go to bathroom once a week and had a lot of acid. She started taking this every night and is feeling much better. My mom also felt bloated and felt better after taking this.

Is she on any other medications that may be the cause of her problems? Also DH has IBS and when he first was diagnosed it was pretty bad. The doctor put him on Xanax and it really helped. He now only takes the Xanax when his IBS has major flare up.

Well, unfortunately the plot thickens. Today my mom got a call from her doctor’s office about her blood tests from last week. Evidently, her pancreatic enzymes are elevated and they are sending her for a CT with contrast on Thursday. She’s very concerned. I am wondering what connection this could have to her stomach issues. When i google it, there does seem to be a connection between Celiac and high pancreatic enzyme numbers. Also between that and ovarian cancer, lung cancer, intestinal blockage, and of course pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer.

I’m sorry, EPTR. I hope they are able to come to a diagnosis and get your mother some relief.

Hopefully this clue will lead to a diagnosis which will lead to a resolution.
