@iris13 I agree with you trying to get out of California. It’s cost of living is obscene. But it sounds like you need to do your homework to convince your parents. Hopefully you already had the “how much can we afford” talk so you know what your targets are. Right now its a matter of lining up all of your options and picking the best one.
And I will tell you this. Instate colleges may or may not be cheaper than out of state colleges. There are some good out of state values out there. You have to find them and run the numbers.
