I’m gonna have to agree with Minnesotaguy on this one.
Seriously, I don’t think anyone at my school really knows what his prom date is really like. As far as I can tell, the guys are asking girls based on looks alone. None of the couples are actually close friends. The mentality is more like “Hey, you’re in my math class. So, you wanna go to prom?”
There is no “love” or “caring” involved. People just want to go to a nice party and enjoy themselves.
If the OP feels like he isn’t going to enjoy himself with a particular girl, he should find a new date.

Doesn’t change the fact that once you agree to go with someone, you’re a gigantic tool if you back out.</p>

As for girls, they have to gtfö. All girls say they want a nice, caring guy. But from what I’ve seen, girls always go for guys who treat them like crap. Maybe if you girls actually learned to appreciate the people who actually have a nice relationship with you, you’d be much happier, instead of being whiny and ungrateful.
