My super detailed approach to every single question of CR

I think this approach really helped. I feel like my mind became clearer. I am more attentive to the text after intense sessions of text analysis. Also, I see the answer choices clearer. Let’s hope I will be that good in timed conditions. Going for a 10 day vacation. No more SAT in my mind!

You’ve done a fantastic job analyzing your answers! That’s such a great idea. Thanks for all the help so far. I will try doing that for my next practice test as I’m aiming for 700+ on CR. Enjoy your vacation!

I recommend reading the whole passage and not doing the hunt-and-peck method you’re using. I don’t think it’s likely to move into the 750-800 range without holistic understanding of the passage. I expect you occasionally miss main idea or other very general questions because of the limitation of your method.

That said, your extremely analytical study approach is great and will definitely bear fruit.

Hey buddy,

Excellent job on this thread. Very commendable. The great thing is, it not only helps others on CC but also yourself as you get to truly analyze what you’re doing right, and what you’re doing wrong. Keep up the great work, I’ve bookmarked this thread so I can keep coming back :)

I am glad I can be helpful to others :)

Thanks, marvin100, for the tip. I will be practicing quick reading without stopping to analyze from now on; not much left till October 6.

I believe that after such deep analyzing I should be able to get answers more intuitively now. Let’s see how it goes…

Lol
I thought I was the only one who used exactly the same strategy mentioned in this thread.
Also I have the same problem with vocabulary…but I thought this was because I’m not a native speaker. Obviously, that’s not the case, tho :D

I am not a native either :)
