<p>CC has a lotttt of creative people, just a thought.</p>
<p>A lot of my friends used Abraham Lincoln, saying that the adversity of a “house divided” revealed his talents that allowed him to become the greatest president our country has ever seen. I did something similar, but with Henry Clay.</p>
<p>I used Lincoln in my essay. Hopefully that made up for my atrocious satire essay. Fail!</p>
<p>I talked about the professor from Tuesdays with Morrie - how his cancer allowed him to appreciate the small things in life while shaping his community to value life while accepting death at the same time. I also talked about Carnegie LOL! and how his adverse immigrant beginnings helped him to share his wealth once he became a prominent self-made man. DANG</p>
<p>Good thing that I’m Canadian, so if I actually took AP Eng. Lang, I wouldn’t know any classic American examples well enough to write an essay on it.</p>
<p>i wrote about beethoven and how as he grew more deaf, he suffered more and became more and more angry but as a result his music became more complex and resonant and unusual. i was pretty proud of that example.</p>
