<p>the OP couldn’t see in the dark! how do you expect him to get a 5? the distractions you had during your test are nothing compared to what he had gone through.i bet you wouldn’t get a 5 if you took an exam in the dark with NO light even if it was flickering now and then</p>

<p>If you think that your score can be improved by retaking the FRQ, do that. Otherwise, take the score. If you’re not happy with it, you can take it again next year anyway. There’s no reason (beyond finances) to cancel your score and retake, when you could find out your score and retake. Just my two cents.</p>
