Name for Harvard students?

I’ve been musing more about this. How can it be that Harvard never developed a functional nickname? Is this related to the general air of slight weirdness around people’s reactions to Harvard, turning Harvard into The College That Dares Not Speak Its Name? (See this current thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/919317-i-wish-i-never-told-anyone-about-my-results.html</a>, plus numerous “H-Bomb” threads in the past.)

Why don’t people use “Harveys”? “Johns”?

Does anyone use “Cliffies” for students who live in the Quad houses?

Anyway, in addition to the scatological epithet referenced above, I think we sometimes just called them “Harvards” back in the day.
