Kvte, I’ve had to mostly drive to San Francisco or Oakland to see bands, so living in a city where nearly all bands make a stop on tours is exciting. I saw David Gray and Aqualung a couple of weeks ago in Oakland…mesmerizing show. Much better than the Death Cab for Cutie and Franz Ferdinand show, which was actually in Sacramento.

My name is Sam.

I like to take pictures, speak nonsense and play music.

My best friend’s name is Sam.

He likes to take pictures, speak nonsense and play music.

Are you your own best friend or is that just coincidence?

Reading–I was just in San Francisco for three weeks. It was pretty ****ing awesome. I’m so glad people have good taste in music; I’ll have people to go to shows with!

I really should be writing my senior project essay, but I go on CC instead. Oh, internet.

Coincidence - although I might just be delusional.

And yay San Francisco, I love it. I like Chiacgo too, half-blighted oldness does it for me especially.

For a college town though, I’d go to USF if it weren’t bad or Jesuit and Berkeley if it had not become an underfunded gladiator pit at the undergrad level. UCSF and SFSU have mediocre locations though.

I went to hear a war-resistor speak at USF. They have a really pretty campus, but it doesn’t seem that academic. I also visited San Fran art [I can’t remember the proper] name and it was so cute. It’s only 2 blocks long, and there’s a gate covered in moss. Aw, I miss SF.

Kvte, definitely, I love going to shows. I missed the Jenny Lewis show in SF last month because the club it was at was 18 and over. And with my late birthday and lack of a fake ID, I was out seeing Jenny again.

Yeah, USF is a terrible school, but I take the bus by the campus and it is not a long walk, so I walk through just for the beauty of the cathedral and the view of the city once in a while.

There are a few decent art schools too, academy of art, SFAI, CCarts (formerly CCAC)… at least one more.

You’ll never guess but my name is Oliver

i’m naming my first child oliver if he is a boy. just so you know.

I always figured it would be like Polyp…olliepoly88’s name that is.

naming your kid polyp would be one of the more terrible things i could think of doing in one’s life…

I’ll have you know my middle name is Polyp.

This thread is mildly entertaining actually. I look forward to four years of chuckles at my counterparts (and insane laughing at textbooks and snow).

My name is Andrew D. Anderson. I prefer the entire ordeal written out, but when referred to vocally - Andrew is just fine.

Well, since we now know each other (albeit quite informally) I propose we share first choice housing information.

Oh yes - as far as music goes - I prefer unadulterated silence. No, that is not a band - and if it is, that is not what I am referring to.

My first choice housing is Broadview. Thanks for asking.

If you care to elaborate on you organizational plans - that could be interesting to know. (No - I am not referring to the way you will pack or arrange your room, but rather what organizations you might associate yourself with at the UofC.)

Hmm… ok. I’m off to dream of nothingness, only to awaken in a few seconds.

Until next time…

-Andrew D. Anderson

what a fantastic name

What a short nap. I’ve awaken just in time for bed.

(Pardon the unnecessary post, but I couldn’t stop my fingers.)

-Andrew D. Anderson

B-J for me… hopefully.

i’m selecting between some balance of wind ensemble, model UN, assorted vegetarian groups, interfaith organizations… any other random thing that catches my fancy. i’ve been so overcommitted in high school that i don’t know if i’ll know what to do with myself when i’m not expected to be two places at once.

he’s very formal.

any chance I could be that random thing that catches your fancy?
