This is a personal philosophy I have embraced for decades😀
Loving Nashville, thanks for the suggestions. Incredibly nice people (both locals and tourists), great food, drink and music.
Things you don’t see in NY or the boots would be gone by morning😀
Sounds terrific!
It looks like you’re right in the thick of it. Have fun!
Who is the guy with the guitar?
Taylor Philips at the listening room.
Song writer who wrote Luke Combs “Hurricane” and Dylan Scott “This Towns Been Good” and Nate Smith “world on Fire”.
He has an amazing portfolio and performed and discussed them all. Pretty cool.
That song is blowing everyone out of the water. Nine weeks at no. 1 is amazing. Taylor can retire now. lol
Where have you eaten?
We have eaten at The Southern, Butcherton, Drusie & Darr, Bar Taco in the Gulch and the Twelve Thirty Club tonight.
All really solid food, service and atmosphere.
Gosh, I haven’t eaten at any of those. What has been your favorite? I might be going back in April to see ds perform.
The southern was a simple great barbecue spot with great food and an amazing bourbon assortment. My favorite. Butcherton was young and energetic Tex/mex in Germantown that had a great vibe and margaritas. Those were my two favorites because I prefer casual.
We are staying at the Hermitage and liked the Jean George staff and the food was very good but felt formal for someone that was anxious to go listen to live music of that makes sense.
Yikes.

We are having a great trip and are keenly aware these idiots were not representative of anything but their own ignorance.
The people of Nashville seemed mortified and I felt bad for them as clearly this wasn’t consistent with the welcoming community we encountered.
Those guys have been making the rounds, were in Franklin last fall. It’s disgusting.
A lot of this stuff is going on in Tennessee now, very much at odds with the culture of Nashville which is open and welcoming to most anyone. Google the news for “Tennessee State Legislature” and you’ll get a good dose of what we’re dealing with down here.
That has been our experience!
Just a bit of a shocker directly out our window.
I thought that moving from KY to TN wouldn’t be too much of an adjustment, but I feel like a bobble head shaking my head each day when I hear the latest from the TN State Legislature. Agree about Nashville culture.
