Good morning everyone…this “should” be the week, we all receive the news we are all expecting and are able to finish up updating “award” section of Common App! The wait is crazy…and to top it off, because the envelope is not standard size, it would not show up in the “Informed Delivery” notifications from the USPS :neutral:
At least we all know that it’s not us…it’s them.

It would sure be nice to get the certificate today. My DS20 has college fair and college admissions officers visiting his high school later this week.

For those of you who are in NHRP or have children who are NHRP, one tip I can share is to always ask admission reps if there are any scholarships for that designation. I found with my children that there were some schools who did not have a scholarship listed on their website, but gave money for NHRP. Plus sometimes it may invoke the admission rep to give you other perks like application fee waivers for fly-in trips.
Good luck to everyone applying this year. Remember to apply early and do as many early action schools as possible because it helps your chances and reduces the stress.

Still haven’t gotten it in So Cal, but my daughter was notified by her school counselor that they received something that listed her as an NHRP scholar. I didn’t know the schools were notified also.
