<p>Is the essay weighted a lot on the decision of the finalist? My S already submitted his part, I think the school hasn’t finished its part yet. I just re-read my S essay, now it seems that he had used some very strong phrases and words to describe an experience he had, and now it sounded like making the people involved in the event look like the bad guys. When I first read it, it seemed okay that he conveyed his leadership skills and characteristic of perseverance and not to give up things easily. Now, we felt we are screwed. Can he ask his school to let him change the essay? I know the possibility is zero, just wanted to see if anyone of you can give me some advice.</p>
