<p>If his stats really are good enough to have a chance at HYPMS, then Miami should be a safety for him. I have not looked into their NMF policy, but I would think he should get a very good merit scholarship offer also. He also might want to see if they have a “no loan” policy for families with low income/assets, if that is indeed the case as implied by his mother being out of work.</p>
