What really helps is for people to post things like “My D is in with a 217 in [STATE].” While that doesn’t confirm the exact cutoff for whatever the state is, it will bring relief to a lot of anxious parents and students who have that number or higher.
Posts like “Nothing here in [STATE] today” let everyone know to keep waiting for that state, which tends to let people sleep easier for one more night. 
While I don’t want anyone to post information they’re not comfortable sharing, I know I’ll be extremely grateful for every scrap that comes until my state’s cutoff is confirmed.
