<p>I know what it means! I just finished ADOCH (which was AWESOME), and my dad finally figured out what the National Scholar is. After talking to many people who didn’t know, he was told that it is used to distinguish people the university really wants to attend. So, if you got it that means two things.
- You are an interesting, intelligent, special person that Brown thinks would be an excellent addition to their community. Be proud.
- If you didn’t receive enough aid and got a better offer at another good school, it is more likely that Brown will match it since they want you.</p>
