Casual readers should not take too seriously the comments on some of these threads regarding the mind-set of today’s brigade. I went to the match yesteday and everybody had a good time; I didn’t hear a single mid talk about the “antics” of St. Johns during the Vietnam era. The match is all in good fun and everybody had a good time.</p>
<p>The most important thing for those considering the USNA is to realize that, despite all the gloom and doom you hear about the academics, the physical requirements, etc., etc, etc., we do have time on occasion to . . . have a good time. Not like other schools particularly, but there are relaxing moments here. We go out. We participate in plays. We have concerts. We even play in croquet matches. </p>
