Navy players and coaches have said many times that Air Force talks more trash than any team on the schedule.

Navy quarterback Brian Hampton said Air Force players were up to their old tricks yesterday, constantly talking trash out on the field. Hampton saw extensive action against the Falcons for the first time in his career and was shocked by what was being said.</p>

<p>“All I can think of is one word: Disgusting,” said Hampton, refusing to repeat some of the trash talk because it was vulgar in nature. “I’ll just say that it wasn’t right. I expect (Air Force) to uphold a higher standard. It lets me know what kind of class they have.”
