I’ve just been filling out some Common App stuff, and I’m wondering about one thing: on the activities section, it wants me to select a general, broad category for each activity, then list specifics. So, here’s my question: I do several things that fall under the “Music: Instrumental”, “Music: Vocal”, and “Community Service” options. Should I try to list just one activity per slot on the Common App (e.g. select “Music:Vocal” and say I’m part of A cappella club) or should I try to list all the activities that I do that come under that general category (e.g. select “Music:Vocal” and say that I’m part of A Cappella, School Chorus, After-School chorus, Church Choir, and have sung in the Massachusetts Choral Director’s Association Honor Choir)???

Sorry if that’s really long and convoluted, I’m just confused and not sure what to do. I’m thinking that I should send in my resume, too, but I want to make sure to get this part right, too. Thanks!

Oh, and as far as EE, I’ve been wondering why anyone in their right mind would NOT do it, since you find out something a little early and it’s non-binding. Is there a reason not to?
