<p>I dress business casual for work everyday- but the only pair of black pants I have are a pair of skinny black jeans. I have not one blazer or blouse. Guess I don’t fit the molds either!! </p>

<p>If you are a “jeans” kind-of person, I think it’s perfectly fine to wear black jeans. I think a cardigan or nice top is fine. I wouldn’t wear anything you are uncomfortable in. Black jeans are fine.</p>
<p>I will be attending the same dinner with my son. We had the same discussion. He is going to wear a shirt and tie…no jacket. I am wearing black pants, low heels and a sweater</p>
