There was a similar thread a few months ago. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/home-schooling-college/816345-starting-homeschooling-middle-senior-year-advisible.html

Is a cottage school a sort of homeschool co-op?

I would be worried with your track record of going to two schools in ninth, then changing schools for eleventh one year later, then changing schools yet again. It shows that you are dissatisfied or flaky or motivated or intelligent, but doesn’t show which. You need to show the colleges you are applying for that you are stable and dedicated.

That said, my opinion is that it would be fine, as long as you explain why other than by trashing the other people involved - say it gives more opportunities, you wanted more challenging classes, etc. You would be well-served to explain your high school history in college apps whether or not you decide to homeschool/CC next year.

About the grade skip - why? “having enough credits” isn’t that good a reason - were you eager to get ahead? Was it an unpleasant atmosphere where you were? Why did you change schools so often?
