Need important advice - international student here

Because I’m a first-year, first-semester student, I’ve been rejected pretty bluntly in multiple places, even though I actually have solid experience in CS/AI/ML and research. It’s like none of that matters here. People see “first year” and international student and immediately write me off.

Can you clarify -are you talking about trying to find part-time jobs here? If so, in the US at least, unless these were on campus they would be violating your student visa terms - not sure what other countries allow on student visas.
