USC, also… not sure if anyone mentioned it yet and too lazy to look.

Just a note: JHU, BC, and Lehigh should never be considered safeties, no matter what your stats are.

im penn '13 and the less selective schools that i also applied to:
case western, nyu, emory, uva, unc chapel hill, northwestern, washu, mcgill

also to consider:
jhu although very competitive, boston university, UC schools (ucla), usc, american, georgetown, gwu

unc and uva were just for their bschools - the environments there are completely different from that of penn. as for the rest of them, i think they’re pretty similar to penn. however, most of them, with the exception of NYU, are less in the middle of the city with a more campus feel

^ Agreed, Momwaitingfornews. The assumptions are shifting fast in college admissions – what worked 10, 5, even one year ago has changed forever in terms of how applicants need to position themselves, and in terms of how schools need to pursue the applicants. It will be interesting to see where it all goes in the coming years.

UPenn is overated imo just because it has an Ivy label. Too many legacies and and rich kids go there. The only good school is Warton and the rest are like any other colleges.

hmm… yeah it’s all about Warton… oh Warton! what would Pen do w/o Warton?
