<p>Thomas Sowell’s “Personal Odyssey” is a great story about a genius kid who keeps taking one step forward, one step back and another sideways. If your teen can be self defeating, this is a good story.

<p>Ok its dated but Ulysses S Grants autobiography is crazy and its well written. Probably the best written book by a US President and sure to give a teen a different perspective. And free! on Kindle
