NESCAC/LAC for CS

This seems unintentionally discouraging to the OP.

Computer science can be viewed as a largely divergent field. That is, undergraduates who learn the field’s underpinnings in math, logic and language, and who develop advanced programming skills, can branch into specialties of their choosing in graduate school or as employed professionals. The ~9–12 courses in CS that a student would take at an LAC can provide a top-notch foundation for this. Nonetheless, I would make distinctions among CS programs at LACs, with the better ones appearing to reflect the rapid pace of change within the field.
