Not sure who that was in response to, @BunsenBurner - I was just mentioning that the question was previously asked and answered upthread, so the info is there.
I think there are 2 separate issues: The thermostats tracks the location of the phone, but it also has motion sensors and tracks when someone walks past the thermostat. So I am guessing it will respond first to movement by the thermostat and then to the location of the primary phone that is on the app.
