<p>I’ve been wondering, what are the rules/laws with alcohol at Northeastern/in Boston? Obviously 21+, I know that and I will be turning 21 freshman year (school in Germany lasts one year longer and I had to repeat one year). But I mean like drinking on campus/in public. Only in your room/in bars?
In Germany the laws are pretty lax (drinking age is 16), and you can drink pretty much whenever, wherever and as much as you want, right out of the bottle and all. I have heard that there are some crazy rules about alcohol in some states, and just wanted to know what these are in MA. Thought it would be best to clarify that before I show up on campus and start to accidentally break the law and lose my scholarship because of that.</p>
