<p>The $300 commitment did not show in my D’s account either. I e-mailed financial aid and within 48 hours they responded and posted it as a credit.</p>
<p>Also for Nat Merit ($500/semester or $1000/year), they told me that this scholarship amount does not post until September. However, they marked $500 as “deferred charges” in my D’s account, so we did not have to pay for it.</p>
<p>Sequoia, I was confused about the orientation fee as well. Then I realized that what we paid for the orientation session in the summer (for parents and D) is actually separate from the $150. The $150 is to cover their activities during this week (Welcome week).</p>
