New American Idol thread

I disagree with the judges, I still liked Matt and Kris better than Adam but they thought he was the bomb. He is good but not blow me away good.

Cartera–you’re right. He is a combo of the two.

I can appreciate what he did, but it wasn’t my favorite.

sorry…i still just dont like him. i guess 'cause im not much of a fan of falsetto.

There are some things on You Tube by Adam that I like better. I loved that he toned down the look, and then added the black earrings -

wish Lil would’ve sang “Midnight Train to Georgia” or anything by Gladys Knight.

The guys are definitely hot tonight (except Michael-- not so much)

Adam always has me thinking 2 things at once - yes and no. I still see him more show than recording star. Live performer he is good at. Not sure how he far he would go as a recording artist.

Who is left?

Danny and Allison.

Oh no I missed him. I just flipped it on when they were breaking and saw, was that Adam with the slicked back hair. Dang.

Oh–thanks

Falsetto: The male Motown singers (well- many of them) were all about falsetto.

I liked it; I liked it a lot! He showed restraint and sensitivity. Way to go.

Danny didnt listen to Smokey’s comments…uh-oh…

I agree that Lil would have done better with any Gladys Knight song, def more her style.

Danny is singing Get Ready, he is good…snore.

I like falsetto too but I thought Anoop handled it as well as Adam. Can you tell I really like my future SIL Anoop?

Allison is singing one of my favorite songs - “Papa was a Rolling Stone.” I hope she doesn’t scream it though.

I didn’t like Danny. I’m tired of his voice.

OK… I’m getting scared. I’m starting to agree more and more with Simon over the years.

Don’t like the way he says it, but I have to agree.

Woah Adam. Loved it!

cartera, I think he’ll be good to your daughter.

I like Danny’s voice–something distinctively gravelly in it–but wasn’t blown away by him tonight.

I like Alison’s gravelly voice.
