Adding the 2011 Thematic Option application: [TO Application > USC College of Letters, Arts, & Sciences](http://college.usc.edu/cf/thematic-option/to-application.cfm)

Students attending the Trustee and Presidential Explore session will have an info session available for TO, but any interested accepted students may apply for this challenging, reading-and-writing-intensive general education honors program.

It isn’t for everyone, so be sure to look into the details before applying. My daughter has loved TO and says the very best things about it (besides the best professors at USC and interesting course themes) are the incredible, amazing, accomplished classmates you will meet in TO.

There may be some useful info here (AP credit policies, orientation site, Thematic Option handbook, etc…) for students making their matriculation decisions. Some of the site might have been updated for 2011 and the links might not work - let me know if you encounter any and I will search around for the current link.

Just adding useful threads for next year’s applicants before I forget where to find them…

If any 2011 applicants have links or threads they wish they had found as they were applying, please add them for the 2012 applicants. THANKS!

VERY useful item: [USC Financial Aid - Planning for USC](http://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/applying_receiving/undergraduates2/netpricecalculator.html)

2012 applicants - some of the items in the original post will no longer apply because of the move to the Common App, but you may still find some useful tidbits in this thread. Stats threads links are always fun for applicants, as well as scholarship results.

Good luck!

Instructions for filling out the USC Common Application Supplement: http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/1112/CommonApplication_SupplementalInstructionsV2.pdf

alamemon,
I am hoping to transfer to USC but have been a little intimidated about the common app process. I have am having a teacher fill out a teachers evaluation form, however the other forms look as though they are more for first year students. Do I need to fill out all four forms that are on the common app website (college official report, instructor evaluation, school report, and mid-term report)? I know some of the schools are different, I am applying to the marshall school of business.
Thank you for your help!

You are right - some of the forms are for first-year applicants and do not apply to you. So don’t be intimidated, you are a natural! There was a recent post about it on the USC admissions blog:

Good luck!
