We had excellent luck with subsequent (used) Hondas. We have had three Honda accords and all have gone to over 200,000 miles. Had a civic sedan that I posted about upstream. Didn’t really get a chance to see where it would go, but it had a LOT of miles on it when we bought it…but sadly someone else hit the car and totaled it.
On our three accords…all were sold privately. And the new owners had them for at least a couple of years.
Sometimes…I think it’s just the luck of the draw…new or used!
