There is a huge difference in what is being defined as a private school between schools such as traditional prep/boarding schools such as Foxcroft, Madeira, Exeter and a different other New England state traditional schools as well day schools such as Blake, Breck, La Jolla Country Day School and schools that are “academies” that were created primarily in Southern states to get around desegregation, along with yeshivas, SDA schools, non-orthodox day schools, Christian schools, Mennonite schools, Amish schools, private schools affiliated with colleges such as the UCLA or University Lab School. I truly don’t think that the agenda that Ms. De Vos is affilated with is looking for vouchers for students to attend the Dalton School in NYC as opposed to their local public school.
