<p>I’m not disagreeing with you stalkermama. But I would point out that if we as Americans say we are trying to advance democracy around the world, it’s pretty thin soup (or worse, history is replete with examples) if what we really mean is, as long as other people vote the way we think they should. </p>

<p>I hope the new president works to keep his promise of a modern Egypt. If he is a USC graduate, that’s good in my view.</p>
