You should have received information about your housing options with your acceptance packet. The web site for housing on campus is [Illinois Institute of Technology | Residence and Greek Life](http://www.iit.edu/housing/index.shtml) and there you can find information about the different options from dormitory to apartments. There is also a link to information regarding off-campus housing possibilities http://www.iit.edu/housing/pdf/off_campus.pdf

Many graduate students come and stay the first semester on campus and then move to an off-campus apartment once they are more familiar with Chicago and find other like-minded students. If you want to go off-campus right away, you might wish to contact the Biology Department Coordinator (check the department web page) who has information about housing opportunities in the nearby Bridgeport neighborhood.
