I thought he maintained that she wasn’t dead? Freudian slip?

None of those deficiencies sound like anything that would cause the problems that Jahi is reported to have had. Accurate record-keeping is important, and Children’s needs to get all the providers on board with the electronic medical records, but Jahi didn’t bleed to death because someone didn’t do the right paperwork.

Check this one out. Words fail me. <a href=“Jahi McMath’s family to get award from Terri Schiavo foundation – The Mercury News”>Jahi McMath’s family to get award from Terri Schiavo foundation – The Mercury News;

This one doesn’t surprise me:
<a href=“Jahi McMath: Family calls state report ‘B.S.’; new medical record details emerge – The Mercury News”>Jahi McMath: Family calls state report ‘B.S.’; new medical record details emerge – The Mercury News;

Quote from the article: The Oakland family will receive the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Award, which honors an individual or family that “fights to protect the dignity of a loved one against overwhelming odds,” according to a news release by Bobby Schindler, Schiavo’s brother.

Really? They used the word dignity?!!!

It’s the Terri Schiavo crazies. They wouldn’t recognize human dignity if it was presented to them on a silver platter surrounded by parsley.

I was morbidly fascinated by the Schiavo case as we grew up in the same town just a few blocks away, though I didn’t know her as she attended Cath school and I was at the public school. I couldn’t agree more, C a Fang.

I haven’t been following the latest on this case. Do they still have her body pretending to be alive somewhere or has she been buried?

As for the Schiavo case, if the H hadn’t been acting so oddly, maybe family/friends wouldn’t have been so suspicious of him.

I don’t remember the details of the Schiavo case.

Simply, Terry Schiavo was not brain dead but she was kept alive in a vegetative state for years and years by her family and against the wishes of her husband who believed that she would not have chosen to “live” that way. The family claimed he wanted to kill her. It went on forever.

M2ck - The family claims Jahi is doing better now at an undisclosed location. Well, better than dead.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2581522/Family-brain-dead-Jahi-McMath-say-teen-showing-signs-life-blast-states-report-hospitals-handling-case-BS.html

How does anyone really know for sure that she’s still alive? Does anybody representing the medical field or coroner or dept of public health follow up on her? If the child’s body finally succumbed to death in every possible definition of the word, couldn’t the family bury her and go on pretending that she is making progress? How would anyone know?

The H in the Schiavo case didn’t act oddly at all. He took excellent care of her for many years. What started the rift was that the money received from a settlement - the parents wanted some of that for themselves, at which point, after having worked cooperatively with the husband, he become persona non grata and a “suspicious figure” in her collapse. Read the actual court documents and testimony. I have. It gives a VERY different picture than what the Schindlers tried to portray in the media, and obviously to great effect since you bought into it.

They’re back.

She’s asleep?? Really? This is beyond sad.

She’s taking a dirt nap without the dirt.

Painting the finger nails of a corpse shudder

Wow. Sad and macabre at the same time.

Indeed. Very sad, very strange.

Where is our Mr legal eagle? Have not heard a tweet form him…

Really dumb medical question. Could she begin to grow breasts and/or menstruate?
