I was aware of that, lol! That’s why Sparta would be offended. Just thought I would counter the other side :). And if you have not been to a wrestling match up here, let’s just say chickens and cows have been in attendance in the past.

I grew up in Northern NJ and never met any of “THEM” as they say here…like those Housewives of NJ? Even at the Paramus malls never saw people like that.Englewood Cliffs maybe came the closest, but not really…

^^^Hey, I resemble that remark!!!

Just saying there are some areas of northern Sussex County that closely resemble Appalachia with small, dilapidated houses with multiple cars in the front yard (vs the driveway).

Our church’s youth group heads up there every summer for a week of mission work. For some it’s a real eye-opener that these conditions exist <90 minutes from home. (they can also head 10 minutes east into Newark and find other eye-opening situations).

PS - dke, head over to the Short Hills Mall (sorry, The Mall at Short Hills) and spend some time in Neiman Marcus. You will find “THEM”.

That island in the middle of Lake Mohawk has some pretty nice places on it and those might be the Spartans that would be offended. We lived up the hill from the lake in Sparta all those years ago.
