I love the direction this conversation is headed…

My view on the great chocolate debate: All types of chocolate are incredibly good-tasting. I mean, wouldn’t you take even your least favorite type over, oh, let’s say, “broccoli-squash-spinach pottage”?

These sorts of conversations only seem to happen on the P-ton board. It makes me feel like my heart is swelling with love for you all,

Oh, excellent. Starting a confession thread, are we? Right, carry on.

That sounded so British, Kat2. I could completely picture you saying that with a clipped, stiff-upper-lip English accent. :p

On a similar note, a friend told me I looked like English today! He wanted to know if I had moved to London, because of what I was wearing when I walked into school. It made me happy on a morning otherwise sullied with midterm exams.

Mid-terms??? Bahhh, from where i come from, midterms are for BEFORE winter break. And you Northerners ridicule us for starting school in August, eh? Look who’s laughing now MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

lol j/k (mostly), good luck with them :)

now the real challenge for us jay is to still pay attention even without the threat of exams. i don’t think i’ve turned in my stats homework ontime a single day this semester.

silmon—

We start in August, too - but our midterms are still two weeks after winter break returns. pouts semi-sarcastically That gives us four weeks total to forget the information going into a week of exams…

But hey, you know what other school has midterms after break? PRINCETON! So, get used to it, buddy - next year you’ll be suffering after break, too! (And yes, you’re getting in…)

Thanks for the luck - I’ll bank it up for my physics and calc exams later this week, because I need all the luck I can get in those subjects!

EDIT: Hao — Stats homework? Now who needs that?! ;)

no one!

My heart bursts with much love and chocolate for all of you here on the P-ton board. Even if I’m not getting in (which I’ve pretty much consigned myself to) I’m so glad I’ve met all of you.

weeps

ahem that’s my confession.

That’s at least how it sounded in my head. ![]()
While my Southern accent isn’t noticeable under ordinary circumstances, it seems to go haywire when I attempt the British one…so I’ll just let it be. (breaks into the Beatles song)
Maybe a few months can cure me altogether…we’ll see. I dunno, I sort of like the Southern accent (gasp). I think I’ll miss it. (“Ah think ah’ll mee-iss’et.” <–lol, I tried. It’s hard to convey in type. Maybe Philip can correct it—think “Oh mah guhness!”)

I got what you were trying to say, 'bree. 'sall good :)

Oh yeah, my “confession”/Princeton board homage:

Has anyone else wondered whether we’ll continue to haunt this board throughout college? Haha. That’d be a laugh. But possible? You bet.
[mushy] You see, it’s just such great fun to a part of what is, in my wholly unbiased opinion, the best board on CC. [/mushy]

Cheers!

Lol. I dunno. I think I’ll try and break the CC spell for college (mostly because college life is so all-consuming). Besides, I’ll be seeing a good lot (well, sorta) of you on campus next year, so we’ll have real-life conversations to take up our time than online ones, haha.

Yeah…wow, what a thought. =)

yes! i have

i sure hope im not obsessed with this site in college. the only reason i still come on CC is to talk to you guys. if we’re all in princeton next year, i wont have to come on here anymore. Besides, xanga posts are better anyways cause there is no 60 sec rule :)

hahaha, tru dat! no me gusta 60 seconds rule
