156 (oct 2004) vs 1890 (june 2005).
48 M, 54 CR, 58 WR vs 580 M, 630 CR, 680 WR
still subpar. but hey, what can i do about it?

kaplan, princeton review, private tutor, BOOKS, just to name a few

221 (October 2004), 2300 (Oct 2005). I used CB Blue. We’ll see what I get on PSAT for this year crosses fingers

200 PSAT (No prep)
2220 SAT (Blue book)

2220 vs. 236

2300 vs 214(I was sick… didnt even improve much from earlier years)

199 vs. 2160

2180 vs. 231

The reason its so much lower is because of my terrible 640 CR on the new one compared to a 710 V on the old one.

Sophomore year: 212
Junior year: 222
Junior year: 2250

2350 (oct)
229 Psat

219 vs: 2150, 2230 (best scores for each section: 2260)

i feel like I am the only one on here with a PSAT less than 200 :(

HAhah look at me:

2240 vs. 189

beat that!

I did, zorgy.

192 -> 2280 -> 2360 (2370 composite)

ckmets13, you are not the only one with PSATs less than 200.

zorgy-- on the prior summary post, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showpost.php?p=970836&postcount=228, there were several with jumps of 350 SAT points or more. Nice big number, but its not unique.

203 -> 2270

211 - 2260

imissatx, ienfur, & others-- it would be helpful to know what you think contributed to your increases…for instance, did you study harder, or did you just have more coursework under your belt?

I got a 184 in PSAT but a 2120 on actual SATs.

On the PSATs, I didn’t give a **** and I actually fell asleep during the exam lol. Whatever.

201 -> 2340

Do practice tests. Lots of them (the official ones, not Kaplan’s). Subscribe to the online course. Learn what the collegeboard considers to be a “right answer”. After that, you’ll be breaking 2300 every time.
