<p>Billy, yes, as I wrote above, Sutton’s cabaret class, at least the one that has been offered THIS current semester, is a Theater Studies elective and those are open to students in all studios. It is NOT a studio class at present. It cannot count as your studio class. It is under Theater Studies, and all BFA Drama students need Theater Studies credits. I don’t know if next year whether Sutton will teach classes IN New Studio on Broadway and if so, those courses would be just for THAT studio. But currently, the cabaret class is not a studio class and is in Theater Studies, which all students can take as it is not a studio class. You can’t take classes in other studios. Just your own studio. But everyone can and has to take classes in Theater Studies. Sutton’s current cabaret class is by audition and it is small. It results in a public cabaret performance.</p>
