<p>You have a remarkable memory!!! Yes, UNICRU. I was so fortunate to be able to find “How to Pass UNICRU” online. The wild thing is, here are the requirements to work there: 1. submit online application; 2. pass UNICRU; 3. pass drug test. Never, ever a personal interview! Shows what they think of customer service! A person could have the surliest attitude ever and they could easily be hired.</p>
<p>My son has had a part time job at Marshall’s since the summer before his senior yr in high school. He has never been “on call.” He gets his schedule a week in advance and has never been told not to come in. In fact, what happens frequently is that he is asked to stay beyond his scheduled hours and has worked quite a few 10 hour shifts. It’s been a great part time job and when he comes home on break they give him as many hours as he wants. This summer he has had a paid internship M-F for a Judge and Marshall’s has been very accommodating - giving him several 6-10pm shifts during the week and he works lots of hours every weekend. His internship is over tomorrow and so he’ll be getting even more hours at Marshalls.</p>
<p>So some of the bad stuff must vary store by store…because around here, our local Marshalls is on the teens’ “horrible place to work” list. (The local multiplex theatre is #1 [managers play good cop/bad cop constantly with the kids; a barbeque place is #2 [kids get fired on the spot for the tinest of infractions.].)</p>

<p>I remember, because my son had tried to pass that test at least four times.</p>

<p>I would guess that their corporate folks would like to know if that’s happening - that sounds incompatible with their corporate statements. It sounds like it could get a manager fired.</p>

<p>Apparently, since Marshalls has worked out so well for my kid. Also, my son has a great work ethic, has been there two years already and the managers know he is a very good worker and very reliable.</p>
