<p>A weekly unlimited metrocard is more expensive than a monthly metro card in the long run. It is only worth it if you are using it everyday both going and coming and perhaps transfering from bus to subway more than once. With a regular ride you can transfer once from subway to bus or vice versa after that if you transfer more you will have to pay another fare, with the unlimited you can make as many transfers as you want and ride without a limit for the period of time of the card monthly, weekly or a day (fun pass). If you will be exploring , perhaps it will be good to get it. </p>
