<p>Case in point: Vandy is a great school, but all of the pro-Vandy people on this thread, for instance, say Vandy is far better than Emory and in another thread people are saying Vandy is going to pass Duke up soon. That’s what I’m talking about.</p>
<p>I’ve never been offended by the “Harvard of the South” remark. I just said that there are other schools that deserve that title. All of this is beside the point, however, as I’ve never spoken negatively about Vanderbilt. Even in the instances you noted, Vandy was being compared to other schools. In that thread, practically everyone was saying “Vandy is clearly the best school,” so I felt it necessary to stand up and inform everyone that Vassar is not some inferior school to Vandy but that they offer two different types of education and both are great. </p>
<p>I dunno when I’ve done WashU ■■■■■■■■, unless you mean defending that school. I was admitted but did not attend. </p>
<p>Typically, you’re only going to see me pop up in a thread if there’s a bunch of crap being thrown around - as in this one! I even made it easy: there were three statements that I disagreed that had no foundation. You can read them again, if you’d like, to see that I have nothing against Vanderbilt, but I do have something against people making false statements and I’m willing to argue with them.</p>
