Go Browns! They made the play offs!
The end of an era.
When does the other shoe drop? (Belichick)
I’m sure no one else is thinking about it, except me, but Carroll’s “firing” coinciding with Jim Harbaugh’s winning of the CFP championship is both interesting and intriguing.
I’m not saying that the Seahawks are thinking of hiring Harbaugh, but I’ll bet deep inside the Harbaugh brain, with Carroll still being in the NFL, was one of many motivations towards a possible NFL job for Harbaugh.
Oh, I thought of that.
Carroll and Saban are my two least-liked coaching figures, though I respect Saban.
I thought Harbaugh is in line for the Chargers job? Not that competition isn’t good!
I have a hard time thinking Spanos, the Chargers owner, will spend top dollar on a coach. He’s always been so frugal.
That is a good point. Will be interesting to see what movement happens all around the NFL, and I do think Harbaugh will leave Michigan. That would leave Alabama and Michigan jobs open, wowza.
I’m on the fence about my feelings in regards to his departure and as well as his own decision, but the man is VERY peculiar to say the least.
I’ve had a “front row seat” to his days at Stanford and the 49ers. He had a weekly radio show, while coaching the 49ers (like Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch do now), and to say those interviews with Harbaugh were uncomfortable for both the radio listener and the radio hosts would be an understatement.
I agree. Two of the premier college coaching spots could be open at the same time, which is totally crazy.
Yes, here in Chicago we were treated to his unremarkable days as a player. LOL
Yeah, maybe. But perhaps the Washington Commanders HC position might be more attractive to Harbaugh? Much more control, 2nd pick in the draft, and the opportunity to really turn things around? Take a terrible team to greatness ![]()
Some local chatter for those who can access the article (sorry, no gifting possible). Comments are interesting.
I hope not! I’d like Quinn to stay put.
I’d hire Pete Carroll…great coach.
Belichick and the Patriots part ways at noon today.
Dallas needs something. Not sure what, but this is getting old.
Maybe some defense? ![]()
This Packer fan holding her breath and thinking THIS Aaron is an Aaron I can get behind!
Long way to go.
and here I thought our Eagles had the worst secondary…watching Dallas lose is delightful. jawn ![]()
