No common sense?

I don’t know about common sense, but I was reading an article the other day about how our generation does not mesh with the current workforce – we spend all our time in classes and online so we don’t have much vocational experience, or emotional intelligence. It’s a generalization but I can see where the argument comes from

Being a wheez kid can be troubling at times and a blessing.
People give you respect but there’s no real connection with friends at all in my case.
I have messed out on prom, outings besides with family, never been able to throw any parties, and many of the valueable experiences teens and young adults go through.
In my high school I got the grades but the teachers and councelors started this thing with my mom about how my life would end up and I have family issues galore. Many school I think encourage isolation of the intellectual kids.
If I could do it over I’d be less grade and academic dependent. Life is not a grade letter it’s living.
