Some people have gotten package notifications for some schools. But you’d have to be signed up for notifications in order to get them. So there’s a chance you’re not signed up (or not signed up right!) and that would explain not getting it. For example, I had signed myself up but I hadn’t added my daughter as a member of the household. As soon as I did that, the package showed up. (It hadn’t before.) Also, some people have said they were signed up last year, got no notifications, and still recieved packages/got in. Lastly, some schools may send packages and/or may not use the shipping services you signed up for. So long and short: it may mean something for some schools, but it definitely doesn’t mean everything.
Hopefully all of this resolves within a day or so and everyone can start moving forward. This is a lot of stress and buildup made worse by thingsike these notifications! I can’t help but keep thinking that there has to be a better way.
