<p>The first year turotial was one of the reasons why I loved Grinnell. Most LAC’s have them, but the topics of their classes is what caught my eye (the first time I went out there). Lol, and about the “higher ranked”…that’s why I don’t pay any mind to rankjing or prestige. I got accepted into an Ivy, but i newver had any desire to go. Prestige is SO overrated. just like rankings…but that’s for another topic (anyways, i agree with you). I also think that, my intial panic has faded, and if I get accepted into Grinnell this weekend, there is a 99% chance that I will go. Everything else about the school I love. I think it will be worth the extra hassle of making my own major, so that I can be at a school whose envirnment totally jives with my worldview.
