It also depends on your major - some majors are 4 yrs/1 co-op, and others are 5 yrs/3 co-ops, and some you get to select your path. Whether you have a lot of vacations or not depends on your major (some are more rigorous than others) and your co-op schedule. Drexel is a co-op school, one of a few true co-op schools in the US. That is their thing, and students who apply value that work experience to get them to the next level in graduate school or future employment. OP should have done more research before applying if the program is not a good fit.
