<p>Thanks for the info, I called an admissions counselor at AFA and they said that we need boots “MIL-B-44152” that can be purchased at the clothing sales store on base. When we went to our base (which happens to be an Army base), however, they said that the Army is phasing out that style of boot (which happens to be all leather) and is issuing a new style boot to all new soldiers. Do you know if AFA is doing the same? The new Army boots looked more comfortable as they had a mesh/canvas type material on the sides…making them look very similar to jump boots. Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated especially if anyone here is actually at the academy and can verify that the boot style will (or wont) change in the future.</p>
