<p>University of Illinois is just awesome. Spending about 7 hours a week on ROTC stuff is about all the military I really need during college. The social life here is way better than it would be at an academy. the ladies are gorgeous, while the west point ladies were… uhh. ROTC is a fine way of earning a commission and I feel I am capable of getting a pilot slot through af rotc here. One guy in my class wants to go to the academy next year and still pursue a pilot slot. I will commission a year ahead of him if he does that. Also, I’ve made great friends here and don’t see myself leaving for a few more years. Basically, I know I will be much happier staying here and continuing with rotc than going to the zoo, and I feel I will end up at UPT in either path.</p>
