<p>Don’t freak out. You are not the first person in the world to have high-conflict parents. Trust in the process and pursue what YOU want. The Profile form is filled out by the custodial parent, NOT BY the non-custodial parent. The custodial parent fills out the NP form <em>About</em> the non-custodial parent. If the school also wants the custodial parent to fill out a form, you provide a valid email address for the non-custodial parent and the College Board contacts him on your behalf, and asks him to fill out the form.</p>
<p>March forward! Think about a plan ‘B’, but don’t abandon plan ‘A’. If you truly are freaking out and about to NOT submit an application, please telephone the school in question and speak directly to someone in financial aid and tell them that you will not be applying, and it is SOLELY for this reason. Listen to what they say and follow their advice.</p>
